I have always thought that Katy Jones was an exceptional player. Her sound is pure and her articulation is just so clean. I remember hearing/seeing some LSO recordings when she was co-principal there, and being blown away by her musicianship. This recording of the Handel does not surprise me. It's just Katy doing her thing.....great performing.
