I have a 1970's Ropy Engraving King 3B that I am looking to sell. I haven't had it in my stable for very long, but it is a great player with a warm, open sound and a fast slide. If I wasn't needing to buy an engagement ring, I would be hanging onto it.

There is lacquer wear in the usual places, goose neck, hand grips, tuning slide, etc. There is also some scratching and wear on the engraving. The flash on my camera exaggerated the wear; it looks fine in person. Slide plays well with trombotine. The tuning slide has a few dents, as does the slide bow.

The vintage case is in great shape. I see no need to replace it and used it myself to transport it. All the latches and hinges work well.

No mouthpiece, buyer pays shipping.

I am willing to meet in person for the sale if you live in the Phoenix Metro area. If you are located in or near Las Vegas or anywhere in Utah south of Logan, I can also meet you for the sale if you are willing to wait for me to travel to you.
