I listened to this, congratulations on a fun podcast! One thought, if I may: I have also taught beginners, and if we’re talking about children and/or young teenagers I personally would consider 6.5 too big. I think 12c or equivalents is more than big enough for the first few years.

Just something to consider, I think there’s no rush getting to the big equipment. Again, thank you for an entertaining podcast!

Thanks for checking out the pod! yeah I haven't worked with beginners a ton thats an interesting point would be a cool rabbit hole to go down investigating the different philosophies on starting people off and the path from there.
