Hey guys! Need to clean out the stable for financial reasons. I have two great workhorses here that need a good home.
These horns were converted side-by-side in 2017. They were both re-lacquered and they play phenomenally! Both horns are in perfect working shape, hand slides are about a 9/10 cause no slide is perfect. These horns are great for high school students, college players, or professionals.
Bach 42GTCLT (1988): This horn came to me as a 42GLT (with nickel lightweight slide) with an un-lacquered bell and Gen.4 Thayer. It has been converted to the Bach clamp modular system. The bell was re-lacquered (it plays much better this way) and had the lead pipe in the hand slide pulled (included are the 42 standard and open lead pipes with clamp-collar) and is compatible with other clamp-collar or friction fit lead pipes.
Asking: $2,500
Bach 42TC (2005): This horn I am the first owner of. It originally was a 42BO, but along with the horn listed above, was converted to the Bach clamp modular system. This set up is very special to me, and has a silver-plated Gen 1 Thayer, the original O. E. Thayer valve. This set up had a standard weight Bach yellow brass hand slide with lead pipe pulled (included will be the 42 standard and open lead pipes) and again, is compatible with other clamp-collar and friction-fit lead pipes.
Asking: $2,500
With that being said, I offer to sell both together for a hard $5,000. Included extra would be another 42 standard weight hand slide (lead pipe pulled) and a straight neck pipe to covert the horn to a straight 42. Buyer pays shipping and I accept PayPal. Any questions or pictures please see my email nbulgarino(at)gmail.com.
