Hi everyone,
Just something that has been driving me crazy for ages. Is there anyone who knows H.W. Tyrell’s full name? Does anybody know? Is it lost completely to history? Any sort of lead would be greatly appreciated.

I think it was Harry W. Tyrrell, bandmaster of the First Battalion King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.

Thank you both so much! I sent them an email just now to confirm his name. I will post if I hear anything back from them!

Hello again,
Received an email back from the King’s Own Museum- Harry W. Tyrrell is the correct identity! To summarize-Warrant Officer Class 1 Band Master Henry W Tyrrell was with the King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment. He was born October 24, 1864 and died on March 8, 1949. I’ve attached a couple of image links as well- he even mentions his books by name. Thank you both for your help!
