Hello everybody,

I'm having problems adjusting this thumb rest.

It slips all the time even when I tight it up with the screwdriver/allen key and doesn't work properly to hold the trombone with my left thumb.

Anyone's had the same problem and know how could I fix it?

Thanks!

Albert

Looks like this would benefit from a shim around the bell brace to make it a bit thicker, allowing the clamp to fully tighten. Maybe some paper wrapped around, or a small strip of rubber would be great.

A small strip of bicycle innertube would probably work wonderfully.

Yes, that one. I tried with sticking plaster and it keeps sliping all the time. Is very anoying.
