He sounds wonderful!

I hope he's only playing that piece because it was required.

New Orleans is one of the best pieces in the repertoire.

A very resonant concert hall helps! I wanted to sing along with him but I didn't know the words and I didn't see any young ladies in the front mouthing them, so he has a ways to go yet. That's when you know you have arrived on the scene.

He is a big talent in the Netherlands! If you want to hear more, use the proper Dutch spelling of his name: Pelle van Esch :pant: I believe Ben van Dijk and/or Brandt Attema is his teacher. Wonderful young musician on bass and contrabass trombone. And he composes as well. Despite Covid: he has a bright future ahead of him!
