I'm preparing to sell this trombone and want to check if anyone knows anything about it -
what it's worth, where to sell it, etc.
I have been able to find a few tenors and a few single valves but I haven't seen any other double valve bass trombones.
The serial number is 238xxx which I think dates it to 1956-1958.
It is in pretty good shape overall - slide works well, just a few small dents, finish mostly intact.

Since it was purchased on a "Best Offer", all we know is that it sold for less than $869.99. This particular one looks a little rough (albeit more "used" than "abused"); yours looks somewhat prettier, so it will probably go for a bit more.
If you've got any specific questions, I might be able to answer them.
