I thought I would show some pics of my Jürgen Voigt contrabass that Kerstin Voigt sent to me today. It’s cool to see the process!

I just got word that my contra is complete and is ready to ship to the USA! Hopefully in 2-3 weeks it will be in my hands!

NICE!!!! That is one incredible looking instrument.
Looking at the bell spinning, it looks more like bell cutting. I guess to get it as thin as possible?

It took a while… but my Jürgen Voigt 470 Contra finally came in! It is a fantastic instrument. The craftsmanship is immaculate. It has a gold brass bell, Voigt Free-Flow valves, and it is pitched in F/C/Db/A. Klier 3B contra mouthpiece. Thanks to Kirsten Voigt and Steve Ferguson for superior customer service!
