Greg Black Mouthpieces finally relaunched their website and it is looking just great !

Also it seems some new models are going to be introduced:

A One 7/16 bass model, seems to combine elements of the 1/2 and 3/8 models. Very interesting.

And a whole new line of models inspired by Jim Nova, probably at least worth a look for those who double a lot on different trombones.

Very impressed with what I see there.

Interesting. Wonder what the turnaround time is for some of these are. I've tried a few things for soprano and nothing has really been as satisfactory as an actual trumpet mouthpiece... but Jim sounds unbelievable on his soprano parts. Wonder if its better than the Chansons. I tried one of those and really didn't like it at all.

the NY Legend Artist Trombone Mouthpieces TD and TD S are perhaps for Alto players who want a small mouthpiece

Ordered one of the new ones (bass) last week and it's shipping out today! Looks like Greg has things together- with some good help.

Wow, great news. Long been a sticking point for a lot of people. Especially if you're a mortal like I am. 😉

He has great help now. Had a bigger order a few weeks ago and they arrived within the discussed time frame of 3 weeks.

I’m like to know the names to some of the New York Legends mouthpieces. They’re listed as initials, and I think I’ve got the following:

TD = Tommy Dorsey

JJ = JJ Johnson

KW = Kai Winding

I can’t figure out the rest of the names/initials.

MF = ?

UB = ?

JW = ?

Just curious…

I have an original Giardinelli Jiggs11 rim.

(sold it years ago and saw one advertised and bought mine back from the forum member I sold it to.)

I`d love to be able to try some of the legend series and his other models too.

I guess I`ll just have to get to an ITA conference sometime
