Hello all. For sale is a Yamaha YSL-682B, the Ian Bousfield model during his tenure in the London Symphony. Besides for some minor surface scratches and a tiny ping (captured in the photos), this horn is in great shape! Slide action is excellent and the valve is flawless. Comes with the original 51C4 Yamaha mouthpiece and case.

This horn is a cross between a Conn 88H and Bach 42BG. Heavyweight goldbrass bell, narrow handslide, and the short-action valve. Using a Wick 4AL mouthpiece, this horn plays pretty damn similar to my vintage Elkhart 88H. It soars in the upper register, does not break up at large volumes, slots very well and the partials are very good as well. This horn deserves to be played and not sit in the case in my music room.
