Hello,
About 3 years ago I had purchased a King 2B Liberty from Dillon Music to use in my college jazz band. I used it for about 1 1/2 semesters and have not touched it since. I am looking to sell it in order to save up for a new horn.
The bell and slide have matching serial numbers 377228, dating the horn to be from the Early 60's.
Horn is in good condition with a couple scratches here and there but the slide has a very small worn spot near the stockings with no effect on the slides movement or playing ability. Horn also came in its original coffin case, however I currently have it housed in a more protective case.
Looking for around $1000 and am willing to negotiate. Offers would be for the horn including the coffin case, no mouthpiece included. Let me know if you would like to see further pictures.

Just a heads up, you need one more post before you can PM or email others and vice versa. If you make the post, typically a mod will approve it in short order. Nice looking horn, wish I had the spare bread for something in that size. King 2B is the one super common horn I don't think I've played for more than a few minutes

What vintage? First 3 of the serial number would be sufficient.
Price?

Serial Number begins with 377, I am going to edit the post to include that information shortly, apologies for not putting it in before.

Puts it at about 1961, in Cleveland, I believe. Excellent vintage!
Nothing wrong with the King coffin case.
