Hello,

About 7 years ago I purchased a Frankenstein horn from consignment to play in high school band. The horn included a Bach 42 bell with an Edwards slide. The slide in question is a Dual Bore Tenor Slide that has been discontinued by Edwards. After speaking with them on the phone briefly, they noted it was discontinued in order to cut down on the amount of models they were producing, there were no manufacturing issues with the slide.

I haven't touched it in about 3 years since my switch freshman year and now my switch to bass trombone. I pulled it out of the case yesterday, sprayed some water on it, and it felt as new as it felt when I got it. Outer lacquer is at about 90% and the inner slide is immaculate.

This slide got me through many honor bands and even got me into college so I would love it to go to the right home.

Looking for about $900 and you cover shipping if necessary.

I’m pretty sure that’s a production number, not a serial number.

Appreciate the information, I managed to get on the phone with Edwards and they said the same thing. My mistake :)

DBT should be dual bore, tenor. I'd guess it's a .547/.562

Yes, I use the same Edwards slide with my Olds P24G bell section. 0.547/0.562".

After looking at the photos again, my slide is a little different because mine has nickel oversleeves and a nickel crook.
