Title says it all. I’m on the lookout for a used but great condition 5g small shank.

I have a minty Bach 5 small shank. I don't think they made 4G/5G/etc in small shank.

Huh! I have never seen one. Pretty deep for a small-bore horn. Bet it's tubby...

The 5G SS is great, I've got one and love it in certain 525s.

On anything smaller it's kinda weird, useable but a strange response.

It kinda works for a faux alto vibe on a 500 if you want to keep the feel the same feel as a big tenor, but it's super squirrelly. Not recommended, but can be fun.

I played a large bore with a 5G for many years. When I switched to playing small bore King 2B as my primary horn, a small shank 5 was the ticket for me.
