Do you use the support rod that rests on your chair or on the floor? Or do you use the harness thing?

Mine came with chair peg and harness, I only use the chair peg. The harness doesn't work on my body size, I think.
Someday I'll order the floor peg as well.

I only use the floor peg, but I custom designed and 3d printed my own clamp. The ergobone clamp assumes the trombone is symmetrical and held with the slide in a vertical plane, but it's neither. There are a lot of opportunities to improve on the design, but it's the only thing like it on the market, and it's very expensive for what it is.

The ErgoBone I owned assumed neither of these. It worked beautifully. Maybe it was redesigned at some point.
As for being expensive... it might be pricy but the resale value is good.

Very few U.S. sources for Ergobone. But Thompson Music in Omaha has them in stock. A friend just ordered one so he can still play a bit while recovering from hand surgery. Delivery expected within a few days.

You're right, Posaunus. I should just order one and be done with it. I recently acquired several silver sonic models that I would like to be able to play. :good:

Heio,
Ihave an Ergobone that has been used less than 10 hours for sale, 80 dollars including shipping to usa. (paid $160.00) Includes all standard parts, harness, device you attach to the trombone, and adjustable rod that will be placed on chair between your legs. See ergobone website for details.

Dave, the Silver Sonics were really piling up back in December so I sold some off: 3B SS, 4B SS, and Duo Gravis SS. Bye bye. :hi:
But in the past 2 weeks, I have stumbled across not one, but two King 2B Silver Sonics! And I still have an old HN White 3BF SS and a 1960 Symphony (1485) SS. These are really great horns that i can't seem to ditch!
