Up for sale is a really banging 2B. I'm 90% sure this horn was bought in the late '40s, played maybe a dozen times, and put away. And unlike some of those closet queens, this one is a player!

After replacing the spit valve cork, this horn came to life. Just to make sure, I had a half dozen very good small bore players give it a blow. Universally they have sounded great on it and said it was one of the best 2Bs they have played.

Honestly, I'd kind of like to keep it, but I have a really great '90s 16M as well... if no one bites on this, then maybe that goes up instead.

It's easy to play, isn't mouthpiece picky in the slightest (comes with the original 21M, but will destroy all worlds with a 5GS or anything else you happen to have), sounds phat, and has a great high range.

Lacquer is 95%, just a bit gone from where the slide nut clanks around and a couple other little spots. A couple small bell dings, as well as the 3rd position dent on the upper outer and another on the lower in about the same spot. Despite the slide dings, it's a solid 8.5/10 slide to my arm, and I forgot they were there until I took the photos.

Includes original H.N. White 3-piece counterweight.

I have the original tiny French case as well, but unfortunately it's stinky and will have to be tossed, I think.

I'll ask $1500, splitting shipping with the buyer. If you're interested in my magic 16M, I'll sell that for the same price and keep this.
