They are known for their pretty incredible trombone bands.

They're all over, but I first heard one on Dupont Circle in DC many years ago. I didn't know such a thing existed. Almost all trombones, usually with sousaphone and maybe a few other instruments. Just like in that video.

There's a guy on instagram who restores horns I think primarily for UHOP bands. Very interesting to see what kind of horns are preferred. Some of these instruments that the rest of the trombone world has sort of dismissed - flat wrap Holton and Olds, large bore Reynolds. Lots of vintage bell front baritones of various makes.
