Tighter mp throat gave me higher range.

Ordered a New York 7c from stork. I was originally using a Stork T2. The manufacturer told me the diameter was the same. And the biggest difference would be the sharper bite and tighter throat on the 7c. Make a big difference it did. Note that I would struggle on in my high range or now coming out clean and strong almost like my mid register. I thought the tighter throat would give me less volume. Wrong. I find it easier to get louder now. I'm just amazed by the difference that one change made.

The throat on a Stork T2 is already pretty tight (5.79mm diameter - even smaller than a Bach 7C [5.85mm]).

What is the throat diameter of their New York 7C?

That is the opposite of what I've found, but I believe it. The throat and backbore of a MP are extremely important.
