How much do you wager shipping may cost? God forbid I try to thin out my case hoard.

I will take a few in the morning...

Depends where you are. I am in California... the East Coast would be about $45, the West Coast $25 or less, and somewhere in between for other states...

A bit more for the Holton case because it will require a bigger box.

Hi greenbean,

I was wondering if you still had the new Conn tenor case for sale? We had spoken before, and I apologize for not continuing our discussion about this case. I didnt want to lead you on or commit without knowing for sure whether or not I had the money to spend on a case. Thanks to tax season, I now do.

If you still have the case and are willing to part with it please let me know.

Thanks, and I hope you had good holidays.

Would the Bach 36 case fit a large horn with Axial?

Is the Holton Case still available? If so, any pictures. It's a monster, size-wise, but a very good case. Thanks.

Sorry - I didn't see these questions...
Would the Bach 36 case fit a large horn with Axial?
I can say with confidence... No. There is very little room for anything beyond a stock 36 with closed wrap. I am sure some straight horns will fit but no unusual valves or open wraps. Also, I think the slide compartment is too narrow for a 42, but I would have to double-check.

PM-ed you. I sold this case.

Update: These are available...

4. Bach 36B. A 1970's version. Contoured. Well used but fully functional. $35 + shipping

5. Bach 36B. A different version. Contoured. Well used but fully functional. $35 + shipping

I think one of these will fit a 42. If memory serves me (which doesn't always happen).

Okay, one of these has gone missing. I suppose I may have sold it with a horn.

Here is the other. It is actually a 42 case. With or without a traditional wrap. Open wraps will not fit. I will confirm that a 36 will also fit properly. Tomorrow...

Can you take a couple shots of the red 3B case when you can? I'm curious about the interior color and the exterior condition before snapping it up.

(Also, greenbean, I thought you'd appreciate - I still use that .508 slide tuning HN White horn that I got from you!)

I can take some photos later this morning, Mikael.

And I remember that horn well! It sounded great. Glad to hear you are using it!

I know it's different from city to city, but any idea how much it costs to ship a case? Is it usually around the same price as shipping a horn?
Hi is the Protec max the MX306CT or the smaller Protec MX306CTS model?
I am pretty sure it is the bigger one. I just tried my Bach 42 with custom (wider) wrap. Fits perfectly.
