Anyone have experience with comparing B-STDN and a V slide? I know the materials are different, but other than that are there any other differences?

Lower cross brace is one big piece.
They certainly play very differently, I really enjoy my V slide on almost every horn I try it on. Big sound difference.

The slide that comes with the B502 by default. Rose outers and brass crook, as well as a different hand brace design.

The cross brace still uses sockets, like a "regular" slide, but instead of the brace tube going inside the sockets, the tube is on the outside of the sockets, and spans the width of the slide.
