If anyone is interested, I might be selling a Conn 24h bell section only.

This one is NOT good-looking and I have not tried/played it. Just got it as an addition to an overall bad deal.

If interested I am of course happy to share some pictures.

Price can be discussed, please note that shipping is from Germany.

If noone is interested, I will make this some kind of accessory, e.g. use it as headphone holder on my desk.

Hey, any idea whether this would work with a 6h slide? I have some idea the 24h has the bell slightly further backwards but don‘t know if this is compensated already in the tuning slide and neckpipe resulting in the same slide length (and connectors) as a 6h or not. Could you send a couple of pics by pm?

I‘m in Germany by the way so shipping would be pretty easy.

It's supposed to fit a 6h. At least that's what the original seller told me. I will try in the next days and give an update. Will come back to you with more info in the next days!

There are some receiver differences from year to year. My older 24h ('28 or so) and newer (50s) cannot interchange bells and slides. Close-- but not quite. So that could be an issue, too.

It is a longer bell section. If it's a post '50s bell section it should mate with a 6H slide of the same era. I had a mid '60s 24H (shortly) and it fit my 6H slides.

Thanks both, the 6h slide I would plan to use is from the late 50s, serial 786xxx.

Thanks Thrawn22 also, I hadn’t seen your reply just now when I posted. Sounds promising and would be better than turning it into lamp.

Here are some pictures.

You see lots of dents and ugly/spotty surface, especially on the tuning slide.

Tuning slide moves relatively okay.

It does more or less fit on my (50s?) 6h slide. It's tight enough, but as you see on the picture it doesn't fully screw on.

I honestly do not think it's really worth buying it. But feel free to contact me with an offer. I don't expect much here, but also wouldn't expect any complaints on the condition.

I would give it one more cleaning if anyone buys it.

That's really early if it is a 24h bell. Wondering if it is for a 4h.

It's stamped 24h and if I compare the dimensions with my 6h bells it also makes sense that the proportions fit to a 24h.
