I’m looking for some Kanstul threaded bass lead pipes if anyone has some they are willing to part with. Just got a Kanstul Bass on trade with only the H leadpipe and I’m looking to try some different ones.

I have a Kanstul 1585, and haven't used the other two lead pipes in came with since I bought it. I also don't know which one I'm currently using. I believe it's the 62 lead pipe.

I THINK I'm willing to part with them, but I've never really thought about it.

Let me track down the lead pipes and find out which one I'm using as well and I'll email or PM you.

Where are you located?

I might have a couple, including the 169 that should be in it. You could always sell me Mike's horn instead....

Trade you for a shires or Edwards independent setup lol, But it is very new to me, it has a great sound.

I've tried posting on your Facebook thread but there are problems. What you have is probably the only MS169i ever built. Mike was going to commission them from the factory and sell them himself...a bit like his mouthpieces. He loved that horn. I thought it blew really well and was very like a Conn 70H with Shires valves that I was playing back then. More than a Holton 169. He chose standard Kanstul valves because he hated the CR models.

Looks like I found a recording where he actually used it, it will be interesting to hear how he sounded on it.
