Hey all, I'm looking at horns for college and the future, wanted to know the call with the Shires Q horns. I've liked the ones I've tried but wanted to get opinions from other people!

I play the very similar Q30GA and I think it's a great option, but keep in mind that the axial flow is insanely open. Just a thought if you play larger mouthpieces. Also, you may be able to find a decently playing used horn depending on where you live. I know one of my friends in my region scored a Custom Edwards with a couple Shires/Greg Black mouthpieces for about $1700 on the used market here in Southeast Texas.
