I'm interested why you're into getting one of these. I'm currently playing a DW9BS which I'm doing ok on. The rim is comfortable, but I think that a m/P with a little more width might serve me better.
The one thing that the smaller Wicks don't have unlike the 9BS is a more conical throat, and I suspect that the 7CS may have the same bore profile as the 10cs which I find a little tight when used with a small bore horn.
Note the narrower rim and bore size on the 7CS.
7CS
Diameter: 37.92 mm
Cup Diameter: 25.40 mm
Rim Width: 6.26 mm
Bore Size: 6.24 mm
Back Bore: Medium
9BS
Diameter: 37.92 mm
Cup Diameter: 25.00 mm
Rim Width: 6.46 mm
Bore Size: 6.66 mm
Back Bore: V-type
Thanks![/quote]

I wanted to get one because I really liked how the 10CS responded and sounded, but it was too small for my liking.
I have been shying away from getting fixated on the specifics of mouthpiece design, as each variable is really a small component of how a system responds as a whole. The only way to test this system is by playing the mouthpiece.
I didn't like the 7CS - it didn't have enough color. I thought the sound was boring compared to the 10 and other mouthpieces of similar range. Other players have this piece and sound good, I just didn't like it. I've moved on to greener pastures.
