For sale is my Bach LT16M from the late 80s (serial number is 81xxx). THis is one of the most lightweight LT16ms I've every owned or played. The lightweight nickel slide is so light, quick and smooth (9.5/10 dry) with no wear on the inners. The bell gauge is super thin and creates a nice warm sound with an effortless upper register. It has a nice medium dark chocolate lacquer tint. There is some lacquer loss on the gooseneck from adhesive from previous owner, but it's only cosmetic in addition to two small mute kisses on the bell. Otherwise the tuning slide is great save for a minor scratch and there are no dents elsewhere, only a few spots of acid bleed near the rim of the flare. The brass is great and this trombone really sings! $1400 shipped to CONUS PAYPAL accepted. Will arrive Carefully packaged in a brown Bach hard case.

Randy Aldcroft again. Does your 16M have an open Nick pipe? There seems to be not much interest in the horn. Would you sell it For a lesser amount of money. One of my students might be interested. Let me know please. Thank you, Randy. Also when I tried to look at the pictures of the horn I could only see one picture of the Tuning slide.

Hi Randy. There's plenty of interest in the horn, but no actual bites as of yet. I think many people are mostly fixated on Corp. Era 16Ms, although there are plenty of gems made afterward, including my own. I can send you some more photos when I return home. I'll check on the gooseneck, too. The horn plays plenty open with the best upper register of a small bore trombone I've ever played. I'm not strapped for cash, so I'm not really interested in lowering the price especially since I'm including CONUS shipping, which will be circa $70 alone. Thank you.
