I am selling TWO Slide built by Eric Edwards of Pro Instrument Repair ( Dallas) for $750 each with shipping included to the CONUS. I will send more pics to serious buyers. Please know these are low mileage custom slides that were NOT daily use. Both are at least 8s of 10 action-wise.
1) A 36/42 Slide. This is a 42 width custom hand drawn nickel bow of 42 width (first pic) with a 36 upper and a 42 lower tube with a 36 ferrule. I like the slide, but not as much as a regular 36 brass slide. :idk:
This is about three years old with little "road time". The lead pipe is pulled and made push-to-fit so I could go down that Rabbit Hole while experimenting with slides. I will send it with a a stock 36 pipe or NONE if that is preferred.
2) ***SOLD***
This is a 36 width factory bow with a King 3b nickel upper and a standard 36 lower. I is a different "blow" than a 36 slide, but lets you use more air than a 3b. Again :idk: ...
This slide was remodeled about 2014 and has a little more time on it, but no wear, per se.
The lead pipe is pulled and made push-to-fit ( see above comments). I can send it with a fairly generic .508 pipe or not at the buyer's option.
I have used Trombotine on these slides and both have been deep clean at least once a year. No damage was done to either one by careful luck.
Please use
for info requests.
I would prefer payment, but would consider:
A stock brass 50 handslide from the Corporation era. ( even trade likely)
Hoelle unbraced tuning slides in 50 or 36/42 size...( tuning slide and the difference)
...and that's about it.

When you say “ferrule,” I think you are referring to the tapered tenon that connects to the bell section….correct?
I would be interested to see what your 36/42 slide looks like in that tenon area. I’m wondering if the bore size is reduced below .547 for a short section.
