Bit of a long story with this one. Basically, this ring will work with a Bach 42 bell taper, but not a Conn style taper. As far as I know, it will only work with a tenor. Great option for tinkerers with much more skill than me that may want to cut a bell or have a customer that wants their bell to be cut. Ran me something like $80 when I bought it.
