That's hilarious. I had a euphonium that someone did the exact same thing for the leadpipe. (They soldered a small shank mouthpiece adapter into copper plumbing and soldered that directly to the valve block. Wish I still had pictures of that!!

They’ve also solved those leaky spit valve pad problems as well as eliminating the nasty stains in the carpet.

Sometimes you just gotta do the best what ya can with that what ya got.

He almost got by.(sorta)

If he had used long radius elbows, it might have been playable.

I think plumbing pipe is measured by outside diameter....please correct me if I am wrong. So I wonder what width pipe they used on that trombone.....5/8"? Do they make a 9/16" copper pipe?
