Here is a Besson 945F Bb/F trombone in great shape. This is a pro-level Sovereign model. Made in England! Lightweight nickel slide! Two F-att slides, Yamaha-style. Horn is in great shape, slide works beautifully, and it's a solid player. Takes regular, large shank mouthpieces. Original case included. $1050 shipped.

This is still available. I spent some time on it over the past couple days. It is a NICE player! It does everything well, is comfortable to hold, and the handslide is quick. A LOT of horn for the money. $1050 includes FREE shipping within the US.

These Bessons tend to be underrated in the USA, craftsmanship is always excellent. Wish I was in the market. Modern ones blend OK in American trb sections (the older ones, not so much).

What are the differences between this and the more common 944? Just the nickel outers? I found some references to the 945 being dual bore, is that correct?

I am definitely the wrong guy to ask! Maybe someone who knows more about Bessons can chime in...

Still available! I missed the question above about it being a dual-bore. That is correct. Dual-bore slide 547/562.

This is now $1000 shipped in the US. UPS Ground fully insured.

Also, I would be happy to ship this to Europe for a small number of extra Euros.
