Selling a Shires Twin Valve section, just over a year old. Very good condition, a little bit of lacquer wear around the neck area and on a small section of the wrap (pictured below).
$1350 plus shipping, also would consider trades for a Shires rotary valve.
Thanks!

I absolutely love my twin valve, it’s the best feeling, consistent valve I have ever used. For me, the magic is actually in the open/un-engaged position - the horn just resonates so nicely and has zero stuffiness for me.
All players are different, I’m just interested in why you are making the switch back to a traditional rotor. What is it about the valve that isn’t working for you?
Anyone out there that’s interested in buying this - everyone’s experience is different, but in my opinion you won’t be disappointed.

I totally agree, the open horn blows very freely and feels great. Something about the resistance of the standard rotary just felt a little bit better for me playing one recently, and my low range felt like it had more depth to it. But I agree that you would not be disappointed playing this!
