For sale here is my original Hagmann Bach 50 bass trombone made by Mr. Hagmann at Geneva, Switzerland. It is about 10 years old and in mint condition, has a huge bass trombone sound, even more than you are used to from Bach 50 models. The Hagmann patented vibrabell system improves the sound significantly. The response is direct and super fast.
This Hagmann has a rare and for Bach 50 models untypical off-line combination of the two Hagmann valves. For my taste this makes the Bach clearly better: the airflow is super free, the sound more open and the response in the low register is brilliant. Of course the valves run super and reliable.
Another gem is the lightweight slide in nickel silver. It is like new, has neither dents nor scratches and runs super fast. This makes technical parts almost playing itself.
The body of the Hagmann is not lacquered, the bell also has a brushed finish on the outside.
All in all, this is a super bass trombone for someone who appreciates the sound of Bach 50's models, but wants a bass trombone that is significantly better than a standard Bach.
Technical Details:
9.5" one-piece Bach 50 bell in brass with exterior brushed finish, raw brass
2 dependent Hagmann valves
Hagmann vibrabell system
standard Bach 50 tuning slide
Bach 50 nickel silver light weight slide, .562 bore
Edwards Bullet Brace
More photos on request. I‘m asking 4,890 € or best offer or an interesting trade for an other bass trombone.
