Here for sale is a Besson 943 bass trombone in clearly used condition.

The Besson 943 was built from beginning of 1990’s until about 2005 and is a copy of Bach/Conn bass trombones, but with much better valves. As much as I know Besson was the first trombone maker to install the Hagmann valve on it’s trombones.

This one has 2 independent Hagmann valves, which according to their serial number date from the 1st half of the 90s. They run well and reliable.

The bell on this Besson 943 is 2-piece brass 9.5" and in very good condition. The sound is very centered with a strong core and excellent projection.

The slide is ok, runs 7/10 in my estimation. Good and regular oiling is a must. The whole horn got a new lacquer some weeks ago. The old one was gone.

IMP this Besson 943 is a bit stiff in response and feel, which can be handled with regular practice. Then it’s a good horn and is really fun to play.

The Besson comes in its original case, which is in good condition.

I’m asking 2,900 € or best offer or an other interesting basstrombone for a trade. Shipping worldwide. If you have any questions just contact me.
