I am selling my Conn 71H bass trombone. Serial number is: M37XXX (1969). As you can see, this is an Elkhart era Conn, very sought after. This instrument has been serviced and cleaned. Has been de-lacquered. Just had a slide overhaul and the movement is great (9/10). The clarity and depth of sound really make this bass trombone pop. Valve works very well. Pictured is a patch on the F attachment, doesn't affect playability. If you're a doubler or just need a great single valve bass trombone, this is your instrument!

I really like my 71H (also Elkhart, 1969), also in excellent condition. These are robust trombones. And much friendlier to my aging shoulder than a double-valve bass trombone. :good:
You may find that the 71H works best with a "Remington taper" mouthpiece to best match the receiver with no wobbling. I was lucky enough to find an original Connstellation 3B bass trombone mouthpiece - works great.
