Bach 39 alto: serial # 25115

I bought this alto from Mark Lawrence (retired principal of the San Francisco Symphony) back in 88' or 89' when I was studying with him. Other than some teaching, it's mostly sat in the case and I have a Rath alto that I use now.

There is considerable loss of lacquer and one small dent in the bell. The slide is quite good, 9/10 and the plating on the inners is complete. I've always liked the sound of this instrument but it was easier for me to switch to the Rath.

$500 (obo) plus shipping

Hello all who are interested. I've gotten many more requests than I expected but I will sell it to the first person who messaged me. If they don't buy it, I'll go down the list in order. It's the only way I can be fair.

Thanks, John
