Bought the horn (with the T47 slide) new in 2008. The TW47 slide is newer; I bought it used last year. I was told it was about 7 years old.

Condition: The horn is in excellent shape. No dents or damage. Lacquer on the bell and tuning slide is 99%. Some lacquer wear on the valve cap and F tubing where it touches the back of your left hand. Lacquer loss and slight pitting on the T47 slide at the contact points and where you grab the outer slide to empty the spit valve. TW47 slide has 40% lacquer loss on the outers. Both slides are excellent; the T47 has slightly better action. The T47 has never been damaged.

Stockings on both slides are intact. The valve lever has an acrylic thumb paddle that I made for it.

This horn has been my daily (only) driver since 2008. It's a great horn; warm, resonant, and responsive. Partials are rock solid. I am selling it only because I want to go in a different direction with my sound.

No mouthpiece or case.

I would prefer to sell a complete horn before parting it out.
