What are the dimensions and can you post a picture of the interior? I'm thinking it might be adapted to my rotary valve trombone

I own one of these cases. You will need to do some major surgery to accommodate the rotary valve section.

I'm OK with that. Any case I get will need modifications. I like the retro look of this case and I was thinking that it might be generally the right dimensions inside

Case is designed to fit a 5B with a 9 inch (225 mm) bell. How big is the bell on your special trombone?

It's a 9 1/2 inch bell. The case has to be 9" wide to accommodate the span of the bell section curve.

You may want to look for the 7B case. It's not quite as retro as this one. Or any bass case for that matter -- most bass bells are 9 1/2 inches (240 mm) although some are 10 inches (250 mm) or 10 1/2 inches (263 mm).

Thanks for the info. I've been playing for 40 years and this is the first time I've ever had to buy a case, so I'm in uncharted territory. There's no possibility of getting an original case for my horn, so I'm thinking some kind of coffin case with the right interior space that I can customize would be the best approach.

I do love the retro look of you case, however. It's just what I had in mind.

Ozzlefinch - Thanks for your interest. I posted more photos of the interior.

Dimensions are: length 34.5 inches; Depth 7 inches except at bell, which is 8.25 inches; width 9 inches plus slide compartment.

I will include 2 velcro pads that can be relocated to accommodate your instrument.

Additional interior photos follow:
