For sale is an early Generation 2 Conn 88HO in silver plate made in Eastlake, Ohio. This instrument has the Miniball linkage with adjustable thumb rest. The early Gen 2 open wrap trombones were engraved "88H O/W". The instrument is in pretty much mint condition aside from one very faint, itty-bitty ping on the bell. Slide is excellent and rotor has great compression. The entire instrument was cleaned inside and out. Comes with a ProTec MAX case. Photos in the link below.

This trombone is fabulous! A focused, stable sound in all registers. The sound does not break up at loud volumes. Perfectly suitable in an orchestra or band setting. I've played this trombone with a Giardinelli SYM-T and Wick 4AL and they are a great combination with this instrument.
