Oh man, must've been 85-86 LSU told Bill Grimes they would fund a jazz studies program if he signed on, but it didn't happen in his tenure. I guess it now has, better late than never, though all the old guys they could bring in to help out in Baton Rouge are now gone.

Someone tell Harry Watters this should be his gig! The second best LSU trombone grad ever...
