Back in March, German trombone virtuoso Olaf Krumpfer died. Here is the announcement in German:

He was for many years principal trombone at the Dresden Philharmonic and professor of trombone at the Dresden Conservatory Carl Maria von Weber. What I liked about him that he seems to have some ambitions in solo and chamber music. Most German trombonists just sit in their orchestras.
Here are some examples:
Bach's Contrapunctus No. 9 with a trombone quartet (him being second from the right): <YOUTUBE id="a46sH_PvqXk">https://youtu.be/a46sH_PvqXk</YOUTUBE>
David's Concertino in a Jazz trombone quartet version: <YOUTUBE id="-Lb94dCCfUQ">https://youtu.be/-Lb94dCCfUQ</YOUTUBE>
Bach's Air in a trombone quartet version: <YOUTUBE id="TzA_W8p8RQI">https://youtu.be/TzA_W8p8RQI</YOUTUBE>
Wagenseil's Alto trombone concertio accompanied by 8 trombones: <YOUTUBE id="T7U2zxpolOM">https://youtu.be/T7U2zxpolOM</YOUTUBE>
