I have had another friend see the light, he's looking for a usable 3B/F bell section only. Looks don't matter, a little service needed isn't a big deal either.

I know your friend just wants a bell, but this thing looks about as mint as you can get, plus one of the mouthpieces seems to be a Bach NY/MV 7c:

Baltimore Brass has at least one, I believe a 1970s vintage and possibly a newer one.
