Hey, do I have a goodie for you! Up for grabs is an F.E.Olds & Son Super trombone built in 1947, serial number 221xx. Dual bore .485/.500 and 7.5-inch bell. This trombone is in excellent condition for its age. The photos in the Dropbox link tell the story about the condition. As you may know, the Super has the "fluted" inner slide tubes. Slide action is great with no wear on the inner stockings. Includes a great case that has plenty of room for accessories and mutes.

This trombone plays as gorgeous as it appears. Love the sound of this trombone! Relaxed playing, it has a gorgeous warm timbre. Push it a bit and that full warm sound is perfectly suitable as a solo jazz trombone or within a section. Don't let the bore size fool you, this trombone has power and does not feel small to play.
