Been a long time user of Slide-O-Mix. New horn came with complete set of Hetman lubricants. I know what results I've gotten with SOM but unsure of what to expect with hydro slide.

Any users of Hetman's Hydro Slide Lube that can give me their opinions?

Thanks in advance.

I don’t care for the overspray getting all over the floor and carpet. I expect my wife, if she knew, would not be keen either.

In a full spray bottle of water, I would add exactly three drops. I found that to be an excellent complement to Trombotine, both in immediate effect and prolonging the time before a new application was required.

Since moving to the Yamaha stuff I don't find it necessary.

The hydroslide stuff, after seeing what it did to the water I added it to, is probably not something that should be introduced to the environment, especially into the air as something you can breathe in. Pretty nasty stuff.

I use hetman hydroslide on top of trombotine, seems to extend the life of the slide cream. I don't find it works well on its own, at least on my slides.

I don’t like it at all, could never get it to feel like a good slide. Was in a pickle once and just put it the concentrate on the stockings sparingly and dipped the slide in a water bottle and that some how felt 100 times better. Doesn’t last long though
