The old TromboneChat had something like 50 posts per page of a topic. Now we are at 10. 50 may have been too many, but 10 seems too few. Is there any way I can set how many posts per page? If not, can we go to 20 like TTF or 25?

Nothing is immediately jumping out at me on the mobile version. I'll check when I get back home.

Bruce, I felt the same way. I'll change it to 20. 10 feels too small.

Changed to 25. Let me know what you folks think of that.

25 seems a good compromise. I hate having to change pages frequently when there's too few. I've never run into a problem with too many.

(What is difficult about 50?)

I actually tend to agree. There is increased bandwidth usage, although it should be miniscule with text. If there is a thread with many pictures though it could cause performance issues on lightweight devices like phones that are a few years old... though that should be a bit of an edge case.

It can be hard to keep your place in too long threads although when i was on the TTF, I would always use "Show whole thread" if it gave me the option (it stopped after like 100 or something like that). I'd be okay with 100 posts to be honest.

All that said, I'd be okay with no pages personally.

We can try 50. One of us should change it and see what we think.

Now all we need is a thread with 50 responses.

Everyone happy with the settings so far?

We'll eventually get a 50-post thread.

I'm digging it. As I mentioned, I'd be happy with more. I have mine set to return the results with the most recent at the top so I can get the full context easily but don't thave to scroll through a bunch of stuff iI"ve already read to get to new stuff.
