Does anyone know if the 2B+ is similar enough to the 2B for slides to be interchangeable?

AFAIK the 2B+ uses the 3B sized connector, so no. But that may be backwards.

If you're wanting a .500 slide on your 2B, you might be able to order a 2B+ bell brace/receiver. Looks like the 2B and 2B+ tuning slides are the same part #, so the gooseneck-to-bell distance is probably the same between the two bells.
Not sure if the Jiggs model is similar in this respect, but I'd think so.
You'd also have to convert the tenon on your 2B slide if you wanted to keep playing it, but that is a pretty well-known modification. I'd think that the entire series of mods could be done for < $500, including parts.

It would be easier and cheaper to replace the tenon on the slide, wouldn’t it?

Not if the OP wants a .500 slide, easier to buy a 170 freelancer 8-)

If it fits, totally agreed! And tested quite easily if you've already got the .500 slide on hand.
The inner slide usually protrudes into the tenon a bit (it did on a junk 606 slide I found a while back), so you might have to check to see if it'd fit into the smaller tenon. It's not like you're trying to fit a 2B tenon on a bass, though, so it'd be worth a try.

Just remember, as you are getting older so is she. The arm strength is going and the eyes are clouding up affecting her aim
By the way, hi! :hi:
