I recently invested in a new bass so unfortunately I need to let some things go to help pay for that. Up first are a couple of oddities that I picked up several years ago and have rarely played since.
1. Vega Perfection Model Sackbut/"Hackbut": $250 shipped CONUS SOLD
This was made for me by doctortrombone (formerly euphanasia) several years back when I wanted to dip my toes into early music. The Vega was a good candidate due to its minimal taper, super small bore, and lack of leadpipe so he lopped the bell off and added a small copper "kranz." With a legit sackbut mouthpiece, this instrument sounds and feels about 90% of the way to a real, handcrafted sackbut at about 5% of the price. The receiver is slightly smaller than a modern small shank but modern mouthpieces will fit, however I have had best results with older "period" pieces. I don't have a mouthpiece to include at this time, but I will include the old-school King flat case that I modified to accommodate the longer slide and properly support the tiny bell. If you have any questions about certain features, sound, playability, etc. feel free to reach out!
Bore: .450 (give or take)
Bell: ~4"
Bell: 3rd position
Tuning range: 432-443ish Hz
Slide: Solid 7/10 dry

2. Getzen "Deluxe" Baritone G Bugle: $75 shipped CONUS SOLD
Picked this up for fun after my first summer marching drum corps. It's in good shape overall, but it doesn't ever get played so it has to go. Features one piston valve (putting it in D) and chrome plating; this would look great in an alumni corps, as a decoration piece, or even playing taps. There are a few small dings throughout, some *very* light pitting on the bell around the contact area, and evidence of some bell repairs. Takes a normal small shank mouthpiece. Includes hard case.

I'm pretty sure your bugle is like the one I played with the Blue Knights in Denver back in 1958, their inaugural year. There were only two of us with valved instruments (my brother had a French horn bugle). Everyone else used standard brass bugles!
