Is is cheating if I take my fitness tracker off my left wrist and put it on my right when I'm playing trombone? :D

Do you play left or right handed?

Probably. :)

I wear my smart watch on my left wrist. When I stand to practice or play trombone it usually doesn't recognize that I'm actually standing and I'll get a notice that I've been sitting too long.

When I'm conducting my smart watch thinks I'm exercising and I get credit for extra exercise hours and burned active calories. I know that conducting is more active than simply standing there, but I think I get too much credit for what I'm actually doing.

Fitbit does have a checkbox for whether or not it is on your dominant hand... My son was getting a lot of walking credit for writing things that went away when I clicked that box.

Cheers,

Left is my non-dominant hand and that is where I wear it except last night at rehearsal.

That said, the original post was tongue in cheek... :hi:
