Hello Everyone,

I’ve decided to sell my prized Shires setup with a vintage Conn 60/62H bell. I have been going back and forth between my Conn 60H conversion and this horn for a while now and I just can’t justify having one sitting in the closet.

I believe I picked up almost everything for this build off the classifieds here! Matthew at M&W pieced everything together for me and did a masterful job!

Bell - Vintage Conn Elkhart 60/62H (this is bought directly from Matthew and he fit it to my valve section and tuning slide.

Tuning Slide - Shires BYB (Has 3 small dings from cleaning my trombone with children running around. I have taken a picture of this.)

Valves - Shires Rotary Valves (These have lots of lacquer wear, but play great!)

Slide - Shires Standard B62 (Has some lacquer wear, but is still in good shape and plays very well)

Leadpipe: Kanstul - Minick C

Case - Blue Eastman (very nice, lightweight and sturdy)

Feel free to ask any questions you might have, or if you want some more pictures of anything in particular.

This bass trombone will make someone smile each time they pick it up to play.

$3000 shipped to the continental US via PayPal

Thanks

In the realm of traditional-style rotors, the Shires dependent section is wonderful. Best of luck with the sale and to whomever takes this beauty home!
