H.N. White Counterweight, silver plate on 3-piece solid brass

SOLD $90, including shipping in the US. I can take PayPal.

I see new and used ones for $215-$125.

I think this came off a 1957-59 Liberty or 2B Liberty small bore tenor. Maybe the hive can help pinpoint. I no longer have the rest of the horn to check serial numbers. Seems like similar ones from ‘39 to the ‘60s.

You can see image for the wear and scratches; some look like Norse runes, so that probably adds to the value! So check dimensions, and images, and ask questions.

My best measure with a Harbor Freight micrometer…

Diameter 1.56” (1 9/16”)

Depth .79”

Opening for the brace .37”-.38” (which is right at 3/8”)

Similar horns and counterweights here, just for reference.

Always wondered what the single digit number meant. My 1940 Liberty's counterweight has the number "3".
