Will update later with pics.

Late 1970s Bach Corporation 42. started life as a straight horn. Custom open-wrap F-attachment added long ago by previous owner. I believe it was done by Terry Pierce (if I’m remembering correctly what the previous owner told me). Horn is de-lacquered. No noticeable dents. Evidence of minor bell repair. Small ding on F tuning slide. Slide is not a 10/10 but definitely usable…I’ll throw in a little cash for a slide setup if you want. It’s a very good player. Old

Bach valve, but I keep it well lubed and adjusted.

Edited to update: I also have a Bach counterweight and the original 2nd bell brace which I’ll include with the horn.

Want to trade for: Shires custom large-bore tenor bell section Will consider valve section or bell only + some cash. I already have a Shires slide that I’ve been using with the Bach bell section.

Would prefer: axial valve, regular weight yellow bell (1Y would be great), gold or red tuning slide (not especially picky). I don’t particularly care about the age or lacquer condition. Will consider other components, but not LW and strongly prefer yellow or perhaps gold brass bell.

Please send an email if interested (see my profile for email address).

Thanks!
