I’m pretty certain that R3 and R4 goosenecks are the same. They’re interchangeable

Yes… this is a fact… I’ve used the same gooseneck on my R4 and R3

I don’t believe so… I think the R4 is wider and has a larger bore on the bell side.

No, they're the same. The whole section (neckpipe, TS, bell) is the same. An 8" flare is more likely to be used with an R3 setup, and vice versa, but they're all interchangeable.
